Bitstorm Web Launches DWCO-REC
Bitstorm web recently developed and launched a website for the Dayton – West Central Ohio Regional Extension Center (REC) or DWCO-REC for short. DWCO-REC is a partnership between the Greater Dayton Area Health Information Network (GDAHIN), the West Central Ohio Health Information Network (WCO HIE) and the Ohio Health Information Partnership (OHIP) with the purpose of helping physicians achieve meaningful use. This is accomplished through consulting services on topics such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), Meaningful Use (MU) and ARRA funding. In addition, the REC will provide discounted rates on preferred EHRs, workflow and readiness assessment tools, loan programs and educational sessions.
The website was developed using the Joomla 1.5 CMS based on PHP/mySQL and features a members area for document delivery and collaboration.
