Bitstorm Launches New Website for Humane Society of Greater Dayton
Bitstorm Web recently developed and launched a new website for the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. Focused on pet adoption, education and the humane treatment of animals, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton develops and offers programs designed to educate the public on proper pet care reduce pet overpopulation, eliminate cruelty to animals, and increase availability of and access to medical care for all pets.
The new website significantly increases user interactivity with the inclusion of online adopt, donate and volunteer quick links, an e-mail based “pet alert” notification system and online pet sponsorship capability. The website also features online event listings and an online cruelty reporting capability.
The website was developed using the Joomla 1.5 CMS based on PHP/mySQL and is fully compliant with W3C industry standards.
